Mr. Eazi and Salif Keita star in the official music video for Angélique Kidjo’s exhilarating track “Africa, One of a Kind.”
Angelique Kidjo’s song “Africa, One of a Kind” is devoted to her motherland, Africa, and features a fusion of three languages: Bambara, English (Nigerian Pidgin), and Yoruba.
Mr. Eazi started before the song, “This is the most important song I have done to date.” Mr. Eazi has created this incredible duet for us, a homage to our beloved African continent.
Furthermore, “Africa, One of a Kind” is taken from Angelique Kidjo’s upcoming album, “Mother Nature,” which is set to be released later this month.
It was shot in Benin, and Salif Keita appears as a special guest. The dance is the Gogbahoun from Ouidah, my hometown!!!
This New album is a love letter to Mother Earth and all of our core values: honesty, trust, love, and connection. If the epidemic has taught us anything, it’s that we’re all part of the same ecosystem—this is our only home.
