Tanzanian R&B star Jux joins forces with fellow WCB Wasafi artist Mbosso for a new love duet titled “Kipepeo” — his first song of 2026.

“Kipepeo” translates to “butterfly” in Swahili and the title fits the song perfectly. Jux uses the butterfly as a metaphor for beauty, attraction and that special feeling you get when love takes over your entire being. It’s the perfect image for a record driven by admiration and devotion.

Musically, “Kipepeo” is a laid-back Bongo Flava with hints of Swahili R&B, allowing both artists to deliver delicate, emotional vocals. Jux and Mbosso trade lines with natural chemistry, neither one taking over the other. Their voices blend naturally, which makes the chorus land even harder.

Coming after “TMAJO” and “SEE BODY” earlier this year, “Kipepeo” shows Jux stepping into something more romantic and tender. Mbosso, known for his own melodic strength on records like “MR DJ,” fits right into that mood without missing a beat.

Stream “Kipepeo” now and let the butterflies do their thing.
