The Squad keeps “Full Circle” moving with “Organ Groove,” the tenth track on the album, and the title already hints at where this one goes.
Organ-driven Amapiano hits differently from the standard piano-led records. The instrument carries a warmer, slightly older sound that gives “Organ Groove” its own personality within the project. So even without a feature, this solo record stands out simply because of how the production approaches the familiar Amapiano framework differently.
Tremaine Mothoa, Romario Williams, and Warne Abrahams produce again here. But this time the arrangement lets the organ take center stage rather than the piano. That shift in texture keeps “Full Circle” from sounding uniform across thirteen tracks.
Coming after the nine-minute patience of “Bamba La,” this one moves with a slightly different rhythm. Also, the groove feels more playful here. Less introspective, more about moving your body than sitting with a feeling.
The Squad clearly understood what each track needed to do within the bigger picture. “Organ Groove” earns its spot by simply doing something the other records around it don’t.
