Nigerian Afrosounds artist Yedika drops “Believe,” a confident solo record produced by Jhay2unez and released alongside “Pepeneda” as a two-track rollout.
The double-release strategy makes sense for where Yedika is right now. Rather than dropping one song and waiting, the “Believe / Pepeneda” package gives listeners two different angles of his sound in one sitting. So “Believe” does not have to carry the entire introduction alone – it shares that responsibility with its companion record and benefits from the context both tracks create together.
The writing on “Believe” centres on hope, perseverance, and self-confidence – themes that could easily become generic in the wrong hands. But Yedika keeps the approach focused and direct rather than decorative. The vocal performance stays composed throughout, which gives the message its credibility. Because a record about belief sounds hollow when the delivery sounds uncertain – and that is not the case here.

His connection to Haystixx through the “Sade” collaboration earlier in the year also shows he moves well in collaborative settings. But “Believe” confirms he holds a solo record just as cleanly.
