Rivers State-born Afro-fusion artist Kemuel drops “FINI,” a flirtatious late-night cut and his first release under his new label, Muse Studios Limited.
He’s been building steadily since his church choir days, mastering instruments by 17 before releasing EPs like “Escape” and “Clouds.” Kemuel’s catalogue keeps proving he’s not chasing one formula, always leaning into genre-blurring texture and witty lyricism. FINI marks a real shift though, dropping under his own independent label while still distributing through ONErpm. He’s called it a chant, something that casts a spell.
Production stays minimal and laid-back, built around a hypnotic groove that leaves plenty of room for his voice to lead. Nothing here rushes past the mood. The arrangement stays lo-fi and intimate, almost like listening in on a private, chaotic confession.
FINI slaps because it never pretends to have love figured out, it just lets the mess sit there, honest and a little reckless.
