UMnotho and Somcwayi link with Mjolisi on “Liyoma Ngami,” and there’s real weight sitting under this one.
The title asks what will become of me, and that question shapes everything about how it plays out. No easy answers offered, just three voices sitting with the same uncertainty.
Bass runs low and slow, log drum barely pushing through underneath it. Percussion leaves plenty of gaps, and those silences carry as much as the actual sound does.
Mjolisi opens things heavy, his tone carrying real doubt in it. UMnotho follows, adding depth without trying to resolve anything Mjolisi already laid down.
Somcwayi closes it out last, his voice sitting somewhere between resignation and quiet strength. Three men, one question, and none of them pretending to have the answer.
This isn’t a track built for easy listening. It sits with you instead.
