The Apex Choir of St. S.B.J. Oshoffa Cathedral, Ketu, has released a hit song, “Gratitude”, one of the notable songs of their new album, “Season of Grace and Gratitude”.
The album was officially launched on August 23, 2026 at the Ketu International Headquarters auditorium. But “Gratitude” is worthy of its place outside the launch ceremony. The concept sits at the heart of everything the album represents – a musical celebration of God’s faithfulness through every season, good and difficult alike.
Because thanksgiving that only comes after breakthrough is easy. The kind Apex Choir sings here acknowledges the journey itself as worthy of praise.
Led by acclaimed gospel artist and music producer Kent Edunjobi, the choir blends contemporary gospel sounds with the rich musical heritage of the Celestial Church of Christ. So “Gratitude” does not sound like a generic praise track. It carries the specific CCC worship identity that distinguishes their recordings from mainstream gospel productions.
The harmonies run through the record with depth and discipline. Several voices moving as one gives “Gratitude” the communal weight that solo gospel records simply cannot replicate. Because some expressions of praise are collective by nature – and a choir understands that better than any single vocalist can.
