Macky2 has built his reputation on consistent output and collaboration, staying visible through singles like “Level 2” and “Sitingabwezane” between full projects. But this album feels different. Titling both the project and opening track around gratitude suggests real reflection behind the release, something deeper than a standard rollout.
The Bemba phrase “Lesa Musuma” translates to “God is good,” and that sentiment anchors the whole album’s direction from the very first track. Macky2 uses the opener to set a tone of thankfulness before moving into the collaborative tracks that follow.
Coming from an artist who’s remained a fixture across Zambian hip-hop for years, “God Is Good” arrives with real weight behind it.
