Zimdancehall artist Master H, real name Hilary Marufu, makes his continental debut with a full-length studio album titled “Ndinonaka.”
The Shona title translates to “I Am Sweet” or “I Am Delicious,” and Master H uses the album to announce his arrival as an artist across three tracks.
“Mari Yakanaka” opens the project, leaning into themes of good money and aspiration. “Shanda Zvako (Nhaka)” follows, carrying a message of self-reliance and earned success rooted in the idea of doing your own work rather than waiting on inheritance. The album closes with “Level,” a familiar, confident Zimdancehall record that keeps his catalogue moving forward with genuine energy.
Master H leads the whole project with gruff vocal delivery and sharp Shona wordplay, gliding between fast-paced riddims and melodic sections throughout. Nothing here strays from the accessible, club-ready sound that’s defined his recent singles.
