Mavin Records singer Magixx returns with “Be The One,” a warm Afrobeats and R&B record about choosing love.
The title says what the song wants. Magixx sings about finding someone worth choosing above everyone else. He talks about trust, commitment, and real affection, and he keeps it simple. So the message lands fast, without any heavy poetry.
His voice stays relaxed the whole way through. The melodies are warm, the rhythm sits at a comfortable mid-tempo, and the production stays polished. Because nothing rushes, his vocals flow over the instrumental like a calm conversation.
That easy style is what has always set his songwriting apart. Magixx writes melodies first and lets the feeling follow. “Be The One” fits that pattern, and it fits well next to his 2026 run, which includes the “ATOM II” EP and his feature on Shoday’s “CHE.”
Listeners who want a love song without the drama will find it here. The record works for late-night drives, quiet evenings, and any playlist that needs a softer moment.
For fans of Nigeria’s new generation of Afro-fusion voices, this is a steady addition to the Magixx catalogue.
