Nigerian DJ and producer DJ YK Mule drops a new one called “Blacks Energy.” He’s the man behind “Spiritual Riddim,” so the Lagos party crowd already knows his sound.
The man’s resume speaks loudly. He jumped on the “Oblee” remix with Slimcase, Qdot and Kashcoming, then linked Olamide, Pheelz and Poco Lee on “5am in OJO Freestyle.”
He even took that sound abroad. YK Mule hosted his own show at NTS in London, dropping Asake, Shallipopi and Rema in one set.
So expect a street-ready beat with plenty of bounce. His drumson DJ YK Mule – Blacks Energy Download usually hit early, and the bass keeps the energy locked in.
The title promises a proud, loud record. YK Mule probably builds it around hype, rhythm and that Lagos club pulse rather than a long story.
Still, there’s no lyrical flex to dig through, since he works mostly behind the boards. His beats do the talking, and the crowd fills in the rest.
Overall, “Blacks Energy” sounds like a party starter from a producer who knows exactly what the dance floor wants. Loud, proud and built for repeat plays.
Download it, load it into your weekend playlist, and let the speakers handle the rest.
