Nigerian star Victony brings in Don Toliver and Summer Walker for a fresh remix titled “SLICK (Remix).” The original arrived during his brighter, dance-minded Starlife era.
This is not Victony’s first run with Don Toliver, since the “Soweto” remix proved their chemistry. Summer Walker adds an American R&B voice, so the remix widens the song’s reach. Besides, the original already charted in the UK, so the remix has momentum.
The beat stays bright and rhythmic, with crisp drums, a bubbling bassline and shimmering synths. His tone stays playful, yet the delivery feels controlled. Because he sets the mood early, the guests step into a clear lane.
Don Toliver slides in with a dreamy, hazy flow and adds a late-night touch. Summer Walker then brings a soft, soulful edge that balances the verse before her. Meanwhile, the theme stays on charm, confidence and getting someone’s attention.
