Bulgarian pop-folk star Medi gets heartbreak front and centre on “Dobro ne ti zhelaya,” a guitar-led breakup song.

The rollout got people talking first. Medi posted cryptic messages that looked like private chats. They were full of anger and broken trust. Fans began asking if he was going through a real breakup. He never said whether the posts were genuine or part of the campaign. So the mystery did half the promotion.

Then the song arrived. It deals with the pain and disappointment after a split. Yorgos Kakosaios wrote the music. Daniel Ganev handled the arrangement. Medi wrote the lyrics with Anastasia Mavrodieva. Yannis Perdikaris plays guitar and bass, and he also covers the live instrumental parts.

The video keeps things simple. Medi plays a heartbroken man, often with a guitar in hand, sometimes leaning on a car. Piano joins the guitar later. Ivan Dimitrov, known as Torex, directed it. Georgi Markov shot it.

Pop-folk fans know this lane well. Big emotions, a plain setting, one voice. Medi also coaches on “The Voice of Bulgaria,” so his name already carries weight at home. Fan reaction has been positive since the premiere.
