Gyakie brings a fresh love song to her catalogue with “Your Body (Craze),” a new release that gives fans another side of the Ghanaian singer.
The song is built around attraction and the feelings that come with being drawn to someone. Gyakie keeps the delivery close and personal, letting the melody carry the mood. It is a different direction from the heartbreak story that introduced many listeners to her music through “Forever.”
Afrolektra handles the production, while Gyakie is credited as the songwriter. The track was released under her independent label, Flip The Music. It also leads into her forthcoming third EP, The Dawn, giving fans something to look forward to as she prepares the next chapter of her career.
Gyakie, whose full name is Jackline Acheampong, first gained wider attention with her debut EP Seed. Since then, she has continued to explore her sound through releases such as My Diary and her album After Midnight. She has also worked with artists across Africa, including Nigerian duo Ajebo Hustlers on “365 Days.”
“Your Body (Craze)” adds another title to her growing catalogue, while keeping her focus on melodic Afrobeats and Afro-fusion. The song gives listeners a new release to enjoy as they wait for more music from the singer.
