South African singer and songwriter Aymos joins forces with Mozambican star Mr Bow and four other artists – T-Man SA, Tee Jay, Moscow on Keyz, and PlayNevig – on a vibrant new Amapiano single titled “Sorria,” released with an official visualiser in July 2026.

“Sorria” means “smile” in Portuguese, and that choice of language immediately signals something deliberate. Mr Bow is one of Mozambique’s most recognised artists, so using a Portuguese title on a South African Amapiano record creates a natural cultural bridge between the two countries. That kind of cross-border storytelling is rare in the genre, and it gives “Sorria” a personality that most Amapiano releases simply do not have.

Aymos has never been the kind of artist who stays in one creative lane. His earlier work with Mas Musiq on the Shonamalanga EP showed a deep musical curiosity, and his collaborations since then have continued that pattern. Bringing together six artists on one record could easily feel overcrowded, yet each contributor has a clear role. T-Man SA and Tee Jay – who recently released their Inguquko album together – bring a recognisable energy, while Moscow on Keyz and PlayNevig add production depth that keeps the record moving without becoming chaotic.

What makes “Sorria” interesting beyond the roster is its emotional direction. The title alone – a Portuguese word for smile – suggests a lighter, warmer mood than most of the harder-edged Amapiano flooding playlists right now. That contrast works in its favour, because sometimes the genre needs a record that simply makes you feel good.
