Nigerian singer and songwriter Mavo has put out a five-track EP titled “Business,” and the project gives fans the most complete look at his artistry yet.

Mavo has been one of the busier young voices out of Nigeria over the past couple of years. From his debut EP Ukanigbe to the Kilometer and Kilometer II projects, he has consistently shown an appetite for releasing music rather than waiting around. So “Business” does not arrive as a surprise – it arrives as the next logical chapter from an artist who clearly treats his craft seriously.

The tracklist moves through distinct emotional zones. It opens with “Intro,” which sets the tone before “Business” takes the centre stage as the project’s anchor. “Oluwa” then shifts toward a more spiritual, grateful space, while “Peace of Mind” and “My Way” close things out on a personal, reflective note. That sequencing feels deliberate rather than random, which says something about how Mavo approached this project.

At just 21 years old, he is also the kind of artist whose biography adds weight to a release like this. Growing up in Ekpoma, Edo State, and building a fanbase through pure momentum rather than industry machinery, Mavo has earned the right to drop a project titled “Business” – because that is exactly what he has been treating music like since day one.

The EP also arrives at a time when he has been appearing on high-profile collaborations alongside artists like Tiwa Savagee, Wande Coal, and Olamide. “Business” therefore lands with more context behind it than most people might realise.
