Nigerian indigenous rapper and singer Trench RB has connected with fast-rising rapper Spiky on a new single titled “Daily Paper,” produced by Tripbeatz and released on July 10, 2026.
The title speaks directly to the grind. “Daily Paper” is street slang for making money consistently – not a one-time win, but the discipline of showing up every day and putting in the work. That mindset runs through everything Trench RB has built so far, so the choice of title feels personal rather than casual.
This is also not the first time these two have been on a record together. Spiky and Trench RB previously appeared alongside Quincy on “Antidote” in 2025, which means the chemistry on “Daily Paper” has roots. They already know how each other moves, and that familiarity usually shows in how comfortable a collaboration sounds.
Trench RB has been building steadily across a serious list of features and solo releases over the past two years. Songs like “Uwa Mgbede” featuring Aguero and his collaboration with Feladehusla added different layers to his catalogue, showing an artist who is not content staying in one sonic lane. Spiky, on his end, has also been active with solo work including “What’s Next,” which gave him his own moments separate from collaborative efforts.
“Daily Paper” arrives at a point where both artists are clearly hungry and still building. Tripbeatz handles the production cleanly, and the record feels like two rising voices reminding the Nigerian rap underground that they are still very much in the game.
