Chocolate City rounds up label mates Blaqbonez, Major AJ, and Noon Dave for a new posse cut titled “Tonight.” The imprint has leaned into these group efforts before, and this one keeps that tradition of putting the roster on one track rather than pushing solo singles.

The label built its name pairing veterans with newer signings, and this lineup does exactly that. Blaqbonez brings the rap pedigree, while Major AJ and Noon Dave represent the newer wave the label’s been pushing hard into 2026. Put them on the same record and you get three different lanes meeting in one place.

Production sits somewhere between Afrobeats and hip-hop, built around a bouncy low end and just enough space for three distinct flows to trade bars without crowding each other. The mix stays clean, nothing buried, nothing fighting for the same frequency.

Blaqbonez opens with his usual sharp, half-sarcastic energy, the kind that’s made him one of the label’s most recognizable voices. He sets a tone that’s confident without tipping into arrogance, and the beat gives him room to play with cadence.

Major AJ and Noon Dave split the rest of the record, each bringing a lighter, more melodic touch that contrasts Blaqbonez’s rap-first delivery. Noon Dave especially leans into the hook space, giving the song something to hum along to outside the verses.

Three artists, one label, one track – “Tonight” works because nobody’s fighting for the loudest verse. Good one to throw on for a night out or just to see what Chocolate City’s newer crop sounds like next to a familiar name.
