Ada Ehi and Ambassador Chinyere Udoma share a live recording titled “Open Doors/On My Matter,” and the eleven-minute runtime alone signals this was never meant to be a radio single.

Two of Nigerian gospel music’s most established voices, different generations, one continuous worship moment.

Chinyere Udoma has been in gospel ministry since 1999, building a catalogue that includes albums like “Agunechemba,” “Pure Praise,” and “Adim Well Loaded.” She has shared stages with CeCe Winans and earned recognition well beyond Nigeria’s borders. Ada Ehi, meanwhile, released her seven-track “Consecrated” EP before this live record, keeping her output focused on worship rather than mainstream crossover. Putting these two together made sense the moment it happened.

The record blends two songs into one extended performance. “Open Doors” carries prophetic declarations, while “On My Matter” leans into personal petition and faith. Rather than separating the two themes, the live setting lets them flow into each other naturally over the eleven-minute run.

Ada Ehi leads the opening stretch with her characteristically calm, measured approach. She builds slowly, never rushing the song toward its peak before the room is ready. That patience has defined her best worship recordings, and it works here again.

Chinyere Udoma steps in and shifts the atmosphere. Her Igbo-rooted delivery carries decades of ministry behind it, and when she takes the lead, the record deepens considerably. The two voices trade the spotlight without competition, each one adding something the other doesn’t.

“Open Doors/On My Matter” earns its runtime because neither artist wastes a single minute of it. This is worship music that rewards a full, uninterrupted listen. Put it on when you need something that goes beyond background music.
