Zimbabwean Dancehall artist Jah Child links up with Spirit ZW on a fresh new single called “Murudo,” produced by Spirit Fingers and released July 2026.
Jah Child has been one of the more active voices in Zimbabwe’s Dancehall scene this year. “Ndinewe” under Passion Java Records earlier in May showed he wasn’t slowing down, and “Murudo” keeps that same momentum going without repeating the same energy twice.
Spirit ZW’s contribution gives the record a different texture compared to Jah Child’s solo output. Also, having Spirit Fingers handle the production ties both collaborators together naturally rather than making it feel like a forced pairing. The result sits firmly within the Zimdancehall framework his fans already know but still brings something fresh to the table.
Zimdancehall keeps producing records that travel beyond Zimbabwe’s borders, and consistent releases from artists like Jah Child play a big part in that movement.
