Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, and producer Kweku Darlington joins forces with Kumasi hip-hop veteran Ko-Jo Cue on a reflective new single titled “God’s Time,” and the pairing makes complete sense on paper.

Kweku Darlington built his name through storytelling. Peers like Reggie Rockstone and Obrafour rated him early as a talent ready for the industry. His breakout came with “Sika Aba Fie” in 2021, a record that sat on Ghana’s radio charts for several weeks and earned him six nominations at the 2022 3Music Awards. So “God’s Time” arrives from an artist already proven at the highest level of Ghanaian hip-hop.

Ko-Jo Cue brings decades of credibility to the record. He started releasing projects as far back as 2010 and built a cult following through consistent underground output. His reputation in Kumasi hip-hop circles runs deep. Getting him on a record is not a casual decision — it signals that Kweku Darlington wanted substance alongside his own creative vision.

Together, Kweku Darlington and Ko-Jo Cue remind Ghana that its rap culture still has meaningful things to say when the right voices get into the same room.
