South African Amapiano collective ATK MusiQ taps Subzero Junior and DAYSTAR_RSA for a gritty new track titled “Abadala,” lifted from their comeback double album “The Return.”
“Abadala” translates to “The Elders” or “The Old Ones” in Zulu. So the title alone carries a certain weight before the first note plays. ATK MusiQ uses that cultural framing deliberately – the song feels less like a dancefloor record and more like a statement of respect and survival.
