Woza Bakzin and GoldMax stack another crew onto “Umfequzo,” pulling in Blaqkidd, Naitor and Assiye Bongzin this time.

Four names again, back to that fuller posse-cut format after the solo run on “Ispikili.” Umfequzo carries a sense of stirring things up, shaking loose, that kind of restless energy. Fits a track with this many voices trying to leave a mark.

GoldMax keeps the log drum thick, standard for this duo at this point, but throws in a rattling percussion loop that gives “Umfequzo” its own identity. Doesn’t sound identical to the other collab cuts. Piano stays sparse here, mostly just rhythm doing the talking.

Woza Bakzin opens loose as always, setting pace before handing things off. Blaqkidd follows with a sharper cadence, breaking up the flow a bit. Different rhythmic pockets stacked on the same beat, keeps it from feeling repetitive across four verses.

Naitor and Assiye Bongzin close it out, Naitor bringing more grit, Assiye Bongzin smoothing things back down before the track ends. Four distinct approaches, one beat holding it together. Nobody’s outstaying their welcome here either, verses stay tight.

Another deep crew cut for Woza Bakzin and GoldMax, and by now they’ve clearly got a formula for making these work. Doesn’t feel like filler despite the number of names attached.
