Woza Bakzin and GoldMax link up with Music Kid on a groove-heavy new single called “Halmat.”
Three names on one track, and somehow it doesn’t feel crowded. Woza Bakzin brings whatever concept’s driving this one, GoldMax handles the sound, Music Kid rounds it off. That’s the short version anyway.
Amapiano’s the base here, log drum thumping steady under some airy piano stabs. GoldMax doesn’t overthink the arrangement, keeps it simple and lets the groove do the heavy lifting. There’s room in the mix, nothing crammed in just to fill space.
Woza Bakzin rides the beat loose, not rushing a single bar. Confident without trying too hard to prove it. That’s basically the whole vibe of the verse honestly, just comfortable.
Music Kid shows up and shifts the energy slightly, a bit more bounce in the delivery. Doesn’t clash with what Woza Bakzin laid down though, more like he’s building on it. Two different paces sharing the same pocket, somehow it works.
Nothing deep going on lyrically here, and it doesn’t need to be. “Halmat” is a groove record first, message second if at all. Sometimes that’s exactly the move.
