Nigerian gospel singer and rapper Greatman Takit delivers a No. 1 Afro-Gospel chart entry with “ADML,” a standout track from his 23-song album “Flames Of A Wildfire.”
The title carries personal weight. “ADML” points to Ademola, part of Greatman Takit’s own birth name. So “Greatman Takit ADML” is not just a song title. It is a way of saying thanks, how God helped him through financial difficulties and resistance. The repeated line, “see as God don help am,” captures that sense of amazement at looking back on a difficult journey.
Hunkie Beats handled production, keeping the two-minute, 49-second track compact while staying firmly within Greatman Takit’s Afro-gospel sound. But the arrangement never overwhelms the message. But there is room for reflection, which is what the song is asking for.
Released on July 24, 2026 through Energize Music, “ADML” debuted at No. 1 on Nigeria’s NGMCharts Afro-Gospel chart. That early chart performance has also strengthened the wider reception of “Flames Of A Wildfire” as a project.
