Tumi Turna pulls together TNK MusiQ, Uncool MC, 2woshort, Stompiiey, and Angekebabuye mc on “AMAWAZA,” and somehow it doesn’t feel overcrowded.
Six names is a lot for one track. Amapiano handles that better than most genres, though, since the groove can carry a crowd without breaking a sweat. “AMAWAZA” leans on that strength from the first bar.
The beat runs on a steady log drum with a deep, rolling bassline underneath. Percussion stays tight the whole way through, giving every voice a lane to work in without stepping on the next one.
TNK MusiQ opens things smooth, riding the groove with that laid back tone he’s known for. 2woshort and Stompiiey trade off next, both leaning into rhythm over flash. Angekebabuye mc closes it out, adding one more texture before the track lets go. Six voices, one groove, and none of them fighting for the mic.
