South African Amapiano singer De Rose teams up with Tycoon, OoFDawg, and Tracy on “Nyamezela,” an eight-minute single.

The Zulu title points to patience and endurance, and the long runtime fits that idea. At over eight minutes, the song takes its time. It builds slowly, so listeners settle in instead of rushing to a hook. Tycoon and OoFDawg handle production, and they give the record a rich, deep base.

Tracy co-wrote the song with Thandeka Hlengiwe Cele, and her voice adds a second emotional layer next to De Rose. Their blend keeps the mood warm and human. As a result, the song feels like a shared effort, not a solo with guests.

De Rose also keeps her streak alive here. “Lutho” with DJ Jaivane, Smaki 08, and Wesley Keys took her from a few hundred Spotify listeners to half a million. Then came “Hello” with Sfarzo Rtee and “Ngimbonile” with Tycoon and Babalwa M. “Nyamezela” now adds another strong link to that run.

The record suggests she wants lasting songs, not just quick wins. For Amapiano fans who love long, soulful grooves, this one is worth a full sitting.
