Zambian Afropop star T Sean drops a new single titled “Tears & Tequila.” Known as Mr. Baila, T Sean has spent over a decade building a catalog of smooth dancehall and Afropop records.
That title alone sets a clear mood, heartbreak mixed with escape. Records built around drinking and crying usually lean into that bittersweet, late-night emotional space.
Expect T Sean’s familiar blend of warm Afropop melodies over a steady dancehall groove. That voice has carried heartfelt records throughout his career since “Wonder Why.”
Given the title, the lyrics likely explore heartbreak and the way people try to drown sorrow in a drink. Meanwhile, the mood probably stays reflective rather than bitter.
By the end, “Tears & Tequila” plays like a bittersweet, late-night record from an artist who knows how to balance pain with melody. Honest, smooth, built for quiet reflection.
