Nigerian gospel legend Tope Alabi drops a new one called “Imole Tan.” Real name Patricia Temitope Alabi, she’s a veteran Yoruba gospel artist with over a decade of ministry behind her.
Tope Alabi’s known for blending traditional Yoruba worship with contemporary gospel sound. She’s released hits like “Imole De” before, so “Imole Tan” likely continues that same light-centered theme.
That mantle has carried her ministry since her debut album, “Oore ti o Common,” back in 2000.
Given the title, which translates to something like “light has finished” or “light is complete,” expect themes of fulfillment, divine presence, or spiritual breakthrough. That fits her consistent worship-centered songwriting.
By the end, “Imole Tan” plays like another powerful worship offering from one of Nigeria’s most respected gospel voices. Rich, rooted, deeply spiritual.
