Ghanaian Afro-fusion singer Gyakie adds “Your Body” to her catalogue, a smooth, soulful Afro-R&B single that follows “365 Days.”

The song carries on the direction she set with her debut album “After Midnight.” Soulful Afro-R&B sits beside lively Afro-fusion rhythms, and her melodic style stays at the centre. She has not shared much about the writing or the production yet, so the sound itself tells the story. It is warm, easy to move to, and clearly hers.

Her track record explains why people pay attention. Gyakie started with “Love Is Pretty” in 2019 and followed with “Never Like This.” Then “Forever” took off, and its remix spent four weeks at number one on the TurnTable Top 50. The song also went double platinum in South Africa. She released “December” in 2024, and in 2026 she has appeared on Kuami Eugene’s “Stranger” and Ronaldinho’s “Call Me” with Mavo.

That busy run matters. Many artists vanish after a big hit, but Gyakie keeps releasing and keeps her sound recognisable. “Your Body” does not chase a trend. It trusts the voice that built her audience.

For fans who miss the “Forever” era, this single is a good way back in. It also works as a first listen for anyone new to her.
