Nigerian multi-talented musician and vocalist known as WurlD drops a fresh new record titled “Da Da.”
WurlD, born Sadiq Onifade in Lagos, built his name on a blend of Afrobeats, R&B and soul. He won Best Male Vocal Performance at the 2019 Headies for “Wishes and Butterflies.”
He also co-wrote Davido’s “Blow My Mind,” and “Mad” with Sarz turned into a fan favourite. His 2015 hit “Follow You” with Gromee even reached the top 20 in Poland. Light percussion and warm keys can carry the groove without crowding him.
WurlD usually sings with a relaxed, romantic tone. His melodies glide on top, and the hook can stick after one play.
Overall, “Da Da” plays like a breezy Afrosoul record from a veteran who knows his sound. It’s smooth, catchy and easy to replay.
