Gospel singer and photographer TY Bello puts out I Speak Lamb, a 20-track album with Sinach and Nathaniel Bassey.
I Speak Lamb is half of a double release. Its twin, I Speak Lion, carries another 20 songs, so TY Bello has 40 new records out. She spent two years on the pair. The titles also point in opposite directions, with strength on one side and surrender on the other.
Ebenezer comes first, with BisiManuel and Tonye Cole among the guests. Kilode lands third and brings in Folabi Nuel. Tope Alabi joins on A n kanlekun. Greatman Takit is on Balogun, a title that also names one of her Spontaneous Worship volumes.
Nathaniel Bassey takes Holy Ghost Air, while Sinach closes the album on Shalom. Not every song needs a guest, though, since Big God and I Only Have Eyes for You are solo.
She often builds songs from the weekly worship sessions at her home, and that communal feel runs through this album. Before her solo run, she was part of the gospel group Kush.
She unveiled the pair at listening sessions in Lagos and Abuja, so fans met the songs in a room first. Queue up I Speak Lamb tonight and tell us in the comments which track you reached for first.
