Amapiano producer YVK rounds up Benzoo, Ceeka RSA, Tyler ICU and Sponge 101 for a teasing new record titled “Usubone Bani.” The isiZulu title seems to ask “who have you seen?”, so the song opens like a piece of gossip.
Four guests on one beat means plenty of personalities to manage. Benzoo also appeared on “Mopepe” recently, so his name is already warm with fans. That kind of quick turnaround keeps the scene buzzing.
The groove on Masterpiece YVK – Usubone Bani leans on a rolling log drum and bright, bouncy keys. A thick bass pushes underneath while snappy percussion ticks along. YVK probably drops small switches at the right moments, so the loop stays fresh.
Benzoo on Masterpiece YVK – Usubone Bani takes the first turn with a smooth, relaxed tone. He sounds like someone leaning over a table to share a rumour. His melody glides easily, and a small grin slips in at the end of each line.
Ceeka RSA, Tyler ICU and Sponge 101 then take their turns with different flavours. Some voices run sweet, while others sound rougher and louder. The words probably poke at who’s seen where and who’s telling, though they stay playful.
