Veteran Zambian singer and producer Chester More Power returns after five months with “Wa Wrong,” a song about one-sided love.

The Afro-fusion single came out on October 30, 2026, under his own Morepower Records. It runs about three minutes and 11 seconds. King Nachi Beats produced it, and Moses Ngandwe is credited as composer. Some Zambian blogs also point out that it is a non-political release, so it shows a different side of his output.

The song deals with an unequal relationship. Chester sings about giving everything to someone and getting little appreciation back. At some point the love turns exhausting, and one person feels they carry the whole relationship alone. So the title works as a question: where did it all go wrong?

The lyrics also face a hard choice. Stay and keep hurting, or find the strength to walk away. That conflict makes the record easy to relate to, especially for listeners who felt taken for granted. An official video followed, and it leans on the same story of falling for the wrong person.

Chester, born Chester Mambwe, had a busy run before this release. He appeared on Mampi’s “Ndefwa Na No” and on “Nakupenda” with Towela Kaira and Chile One Mr Zambia. His catalogue also includes the albums “I Am on My Way” and “Sounds of Africa.” Because he produces music as well as sings, he keeps tight control of his sound.
