Dluxx – Not Pride Just Scars (Album)

Dluxx just put out a full album called “Not Pride Just Scars.” That title alone says a lot, no flex, no bravado, just honesty about what’s actually been carrying all this music.

Makes sense as a full project too. Looking back at everything, “Good Life” starting warm, “Pressure” getting heavier, “Onyemaechi” sitting in uncertainty, this album sounds like the place all of that was headed the whole time.

Sound-wise, probably still the same warm, melodic foundation Dluxx has built his whole sound on. Nothing’s likely to feel out of place next to the singles, the album’s probably just where it all finally makes sense together.
