The Chocolate City hitmaker built his reputation first as a producer, crafting hits like Kizz Daniel’s “Mama” and Davido’s “Biggest Backside” long before stepping into the spotlight himself. Also, “Dear London” arrives as a full-circle statement, connecting his production roots to the international audience he’s now performing for directly, including a headline show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley the same week.
Confirmed tracks so far include “Destiny,” “By 4,” “Shege,” “Glass In The Air,” “Ws In The Chat,” “Elumelu,” and “Hold Somebody,” giving fans a real sense of the album’s pace before the full listing settles. Both “Shege” and “Glass In The Air” dropped together on the same day, a double release that hinted at just how much material he had ready.
His last project, “Blue Disco,” debuted at number one on Apple Music Nigeria’s albums chart, and “Dear London” carries that same momentum forward. Coming off “Jiggy Forever” and years of hit records for other artists, this album feels like Young Jonn fully stepping into his own spotlight.
