Confidence-first act AlorG presents a swagger-filled new record titled “Mr Legit.” The title claims authenticity, so the song has something to prove.
Claiming to be legit is a bold move in music, because listeners test every boast. After “Buss Am,” this track tightens the focus and speaks about trust. Besides, the title sounds like a character, which gives the song personality.
The beat is smooth and steady, with sharp drums, a deep bass and cool synth lines. Light percussion adds texture, so the pocket stays tight. As a result, the production feels polished but still street-ready.
AlorG delivers with an assured, smooth tone and clear timing. The melody stays easy to follow, yet there is an edge in the phrasing. Because the voice never rushes, the confidence feels earned.
The words centre on honesty, hustle and standing by your word. Short lines make the point quickly, so the hook is easy to remember. Meanwhile, a bit of swagger keeps the message fun.
Overall, “Mr Legit” works as a confident, well-built record with a clear identity. It keeps the sound lean, so the message stays sharp. Fans of smooth Afropop with attitude will want it saved.
