Veteran amapiano producer DJ Stoks reunites with Mel Muziq and Brysonfr on a soothing new record titled “SOUL & MIND.” Brysonfr is back after “uTHANDO.”
DJ Stoks and Mel Muziq teamed on “Kosha,” “Ndabezitha” and “MAMAZALA,” so they know each other well. The title points to peace of mind, a theme that suits amapiano’s calmer side.
Gentle chords drift across a deep, unhurried bassline. Light percussion taps in the background, so nothing crowds the mix. His phrases are short, and each one feels carefully placed.
Brysonfr adds a lighter contrast in the second half. The lyrics talk about keeping the heart and head in balance, and the message stays easy to follow.
DJ Stoks has built his name on patience, and this record shows it again. He trusts the pace, so the song needs no big surprises.
