Malawian dancehall star Eli Njuchi drops a new single titled “Cross.” Real name Chifuniro Magalasi, he’s built his name on Afro-dancehall hits since dropping “Never Leave You” back in 2016.
Eli Njuchi’s known for turning personal experiences into music, and his debut album The Book of Eli chronicled real moments from his life. So “Cross” likely continues that same honest approach.
Expect his signature Afro-dancehall blend, warm melodic elements over a steady dancehall riddim. His catalog often mixes acoustic touches with Afro R&B influences too.
Eli Njuchi probably leads with his smooth, emotive vocal style. That delivery has carried him from a teenage talent to one of Malawi’s leading young artists. Melodic, personal, rooted in real experience.
