His smooth vocals carry the romantic message throughout without the production needing to do much heavy lifting. Because that is what the best Bongo Flava solo records do – they trust the voice and the writing to hold the listener’s attention without a featured artist sharing the weight. Harmonize has built an entire career on that instinct, and “Huyu” is another clean demonstration of it.
