Helene Fischer and Florian Silbereisen close “Schlagerbooom 2026” with their duet “Schau mal herein,” joined on stage by every star.
The finale came at the end of the 10th anniversary show in Dortmund’s Westfalenhalle, where about 20,000 fans watched and Das Erste and ORF 2 aired it live. The broadcast ran close to 200 minutes. Silbereisen, who hosts the show, handed the closing number to the duet, and then he called all the night’s guests back on stage. So the song worked as a thank-you to the whole Schlager family, not just a two-person performance.
Fischer had been drinking hard the night before. She was on TV for the first time with her new single “Warum”, played a long medley of her hits and announced her upcoming album “WIR”. Roland Kaiser, Andrea Berg, Ben Zucker, Kerstin Ott and Blümchen were also on stage and the show had some emotional moments. The farewell performance of Blümchen drew a lot of attention. Kerstin Ott sang her own medley and a new duet with Maite Kelly.
The two headliners have shared stages since 2005, when Fischer made her TV debut beside Silbereisen. Fans often call her the Queen of Schlager, and he has built the Schlagerbooom into the genre’s largest annual live event. This is a duet between the genre’s biggest female star and its most visible host, and this is what audiences waited for.
For African listeners who follow global pop and live television, this finale shows how big a stage can get when a whole scene sings together.
