Instrumental stays moody, minor-key synths hanging under a slow, weighted beat. Nothing bright about the production choices here. Feels built to match that intensity in the title rather than soften it.
Idahams sings with real urgency throughout, voice pushing harder than a typical laid-back Afropop delivery. Doesn’t hold back on the emotional weight. That rawness gives “Finish Me” its pull, sounds like he actually means it.
