Ghanaian rapper Kawabanga is back with “Sama Me,” a new hip-hop release produced by THRXLL. The song adds another title to his growing catalogue, keeping his name active in Ghana’s Asakaa scene.
Kawabanga, whose real name is Patrick Sarfo, has been part of the Kumasi drill movement alongside artists such as Jay Bahd and O’Kenneth. His earlier records helped introduce his sound to a wider audience, while his solo releases have continued to build his identity as a rapper.
On “Sama Me,” THRXLL handles the production. The producer has worked with Kawabanga on previous recordings, including “All Night Long” and “Akatafoc Nsem, Pt. 3.” Their latest collaboration extends that working relationship, giving fans another release to follow.
The new track runs for 3 minutes and 9 seconds. It is listed as a standalone single, with Kawabanga credited as the composer. However, the song’s full meaning is best understood through the lyrics rather than assumptions based on its title.
Kawabanga has also released projects such as Been One and BEAUTEVIL, alongside several collaborations within Ghana’s drill scene. “Sama Me” now joins that catalogue, offering listeners another look at his current musical direction.
