Another great record from his latest album of 15 tracks titled “Where Do We Go From Here” by Ghanaian singer KiDi titled “Agreement.”
This one was by Supa Subs, who put “Agreement” on track six of the larger project. The song marries soulful melodies with rhythmic grooves, making it a perfect addition to KiDi’s Afrobeats and highlife foundation. His falsetto glides smoothly through the melody as the lyrics explore love, commitment and understanding between two people trying to stay on the same page. “KiDi Agreement” is all about connection and the title itself speaks to this idea of two people finding their harmony.
The layered harmonies and choices of instrumentation also bring out elements of R&B. But the song is still close to KiDi’s core Afrobeats identity. Instead, it simply adds another solid entry to an already varied and stacked album.
