Ugandan Afro-Beat star King Saha released “Wewe” through his own King’s Love Entertainment label, and the Ebiseera Ebyo hitmaker keeps that consistency going.
King Saha has built one of Uganda’s most respected careers since starting out as a backup singer for Jose Chameleone’s Leone Island. But he’s long carved his own lane. Also, his 2023 Ebiseera Ebyo concert at Hotel Africana became such a moment that opposition leader Bobi Wine reportedly cut short a Europe tour just to attend live.
“Wewe” follows records like “Mpa Love” with Weasel and his Coke Studio Africa appearance alongside Weasle and Yared Negu back in 2019. That kind of pedigree shows in how comfortably he moves through Afro-Beat territory here. His delivery stays warm and direct throughout, never overcomplicating what the song is trying to say.
King Saha keeps proving why he remains one of Uganda’s steadiest hitmakers year after year. Few artists sustain a career this long without losing relevance.
