Kizz Daniel closes “Radio Gidi” with “Taba,” bringing Seyi Vibez and BNXN together on track 13 – and the three-way reunion carries three years of shared chart history behind it.
This is not their first meeting. “Gwagwalada” in February 2023 reached number one on the Official Nigeria Top 100, debuted at number 12 on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart, and earned a 2× Platinum certification from TCSN. So when Kizz Daniel, Seyi Vibez, and BNXN appear on the same record again in 2026, nobody needs convincing about what this trio can do together. The question is only whether “Taba” matches or exceeds what “Gwagwalada” built three years earlier.
The combination of Seyi Vibez and BNXN on the same record is also something fans of contemporary Nigerian music have been wanting to hear for a while beyond the Gwagwalada context. Both artists have individually grown significantly since 2023 – Seyi Vibez building toward his Burna Boy-executive-produced “SWAGUU” album, BNXN establishing himself as one of Nigeria’s most respected songwriters through “Sincerely, Benson” and beyond. So the versions of both artists arriving on “Taba” carry more creative depth than what sat on “Gwagwalada.”
Closing “Radio Gidi” with this three-way collaboration is also a specific structural statement. After moving through international pairings with Tinie Tempah, Shatta Wale, Qing Madi, Jahmiel, and Aya Nakamura across the album’s middle section, Kizz Daniel lands his final note back in Lagos with two of the most distinctly Nigerian voices working right now. So the album goes global and comes home.
