Mavin Records act Magixx keeps the momentum going on “ATOM II” with track three, “Nonstop,” and the title pretty much describes where he’s at right now as an artist.
Coming off “Power Ranger” and “Feel Am” earlier on the EP, “Nonstop” carries that same easy confidence Magixx has been moving with lately. He’s not chasing trends or trying to sound like anyone else. The song just feels like him being comfortable in his own space, which is always when he sounds best.
Since dropping “I Dream In Color” last year, Magixx has kept releasing music without much pause. “Nonstop” almost feels like a personal statement about that run, a reminder that he’s not planning to slow down anytime soon.
At under three minutes, the song moves quickly and never loses energy. It fits naturally into the flow of “ATOM II” without repeating what the earlier tracks already said. If you’re already streaming the EP from the top, by the time “Nonstop” hits, you’re already locked in.
