MaWhoo steps in for “Kuphelele,” and Mjolisi trades some of that heaviness for something closer to acceptance.
The title means it’s finished, and after the open question of “Liyoma Ngami,” this one actually lands somewhere. Not happy exactly, but settled.
Bass sits a bit fuller here, log drum carrying more presence than the last track allowed. Percussion still leaves room to breathe, though it feels less hollow than before.
Mjolisi’s tone softens slightly, less doubt in it now, more like someone finally putting something down. MaWhoo comes in with a warmer texture, her voice easing the mood rather than adding tension to it.
Together they don’t fight the sadness, they just let it be done. There’s a calm in that finality neither one rushes past.
