MzVee leads an all-female team with Sista Afia, Ugoccie, and Sefa on “Enjoyment,” a feel-good song about celebrating wins.
The message hits at the right moment. Before the release, MzVee posted a caption that asked, “In this economy???” and then insisted that people must still enjoy life. That line explains the song. It does not ignore daily pressure. It simply says that pressure is no reason to skip joy. The song’s lyrics remind us to notice their growth, celebrate the little wins, and make space for joy while chasing bigger goals.
That idea is carried by four voices. The Ghanaian star MzVee, who has over a decade of hits in the Afropop, highlife and dancehall genres, sets the tone. Sista Afia adds her energetic delivery, and Sefa brings extra vocal layers. Nigerian singer Ugoccie joins them, which turns the track into a Ghana-Nigeria link-up. Egar Boi produced it, and Authentic Mix handled mixing and mastering, so the sound stays polished and bright. Early listings describe an Afropop and dancehall mood.
The all-female lineup also matters. Female collaborations of this size remain rare, and a song that gives each artist space shows how much they trust each other. MzVee’s earlier work, from her 2014 debut “Re-Vee-Lation” to albums like “Verified” and “10 Thirty,” proves she knows how to build a hit. This single adds a joyful, communal chapter to that story.
For anyone who has been grinding all month, the song is a reminder to pause and celebrate.
Toast to your wins with “Enjoyment” and tell us – what are you celebrating this week?
