South African hip-hop star Nasty C keeps his long-running partnership with Tellaman going on “As Planned,” another entry in the “T’s & C’s Apply” collaborative project.
The title carries a certain confidence baked into it. That kind of self-assured framing has become common across Nasty C’s recent output, especially since his independent breakout album “Free” proved he could thrive outside a major label system.
Tellaman’s presence continues to shape the emotional texture of this entire project. His voice softens Nasty C’s more clipped, rhythmic delivery, and that contrast keeps showing up as the defining feature of “T’s & C’s Apply” across nearly every track. But “As Planned” leans a bit more reflective than some of the harder-edged cuts from the same rollout, giving both artists room to slow down without losing momentum.
With this many tracks dropping from one project in such a short window, Nasty C is clearly betting on volume and consistency rather than a single lead single carrying the whole rollout.
